Lonna Whiting

Crafty writer, strategic thinker, curious learner.

About

38303_411242807750_6527435_nMy name is Lonna Whiting and I’m a creative and technical writer from Fargo, North Dakota. So far in my life I’ve been a college writing teacher, a poet, a newspaper copy editor, a magazine editor, an agency copywriter, a food blogger and a corporate marketing writer. Are you sensing a recurring pattern here? Since I was a little girl, I knew I would be a writer in some capacity. While I thought, at age 12, I would someday be the next Danielle Steele, I’ve learned that I’m a better writing strategist than I am a romance novelist. I thrive when helping businesses and agencies conceptualize, strategize and deliver. I’m a wordsmith who has a healthy grasp of balancing ideation and production. So say ‘hi’ if you’d like to chat about writing, concepting, editing, proofreading, teaching, blogging … or my second-biggest passion: wining and dining.
